1. Introduction

This privacy policy (the “Policy”) applies to WhatsGoodApps LLC (“WhatsGoodApps,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”), developer of the Mog Rater app (the “App,” “Service,” or “Services”).

As used in this Policy, “Personal Data” means any information that relates to, describes, or could be used to identify an individual, directly or indirectly.

Definitions: Throughout this Policy, “You” or “Your” means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable. “Company” refers to WhatsGoodApps LLC. “Usage Data” refers to data collected automatically, either generated by use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.

Applicability: This Policy applies to Personal Data that WhatsGoodApps collects, uses, and discloses in connection with Mog Rater, including: (i) data collected through the Services; (ii) selfies, photos, images, camera inputs, facial images, and related user-submitted content; (iii) facial feature analysis results, attractiveness scores, feature breakdowns, written summaries, personalized tips, history records, and other outputs generated by the App; (iv) data collected through improving, testing, training, and enhancing the App, including through anonymized and/or aggregated data as described in this Policy; (v) data collected from customer support communications; and (vi) data collected from third-party sources where applicable. When You make purchases, We use third-party payment processors to collect credit card or other financial information. WhatsGoodApps does not store the credit card or payment information You provide, only confirmation that payment was made.

Changes: We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal, regulatory, operational requirements, Our practices, and other factors. Please check this Privacy Policy periodically for updates. If any changes are unacceptable to You, You should cease using the Services. When required under applicable law, We will notify You of changes to this Privacy Policy.

2. Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

2.1 Types of Data Collected

2.1.1 Personal Data

While interacting with the Services, You may provide certain personally identifiable information that could be used to contact or identify You, including:

2.1.2 Selfies, Photos, Facial Images, and User Content

The Service allows You to upload a selfie or photo, or to access Your device camera to take a picture for analysis. Such photos, selfies, camera images, facial images, and related materials are referred to in this Policy as “User Content.” User Content may include Your face, facial features, hairstyle, skin appearance, background, surroundings, image metadata, and any other individuals, objects, or contextual information appearing in the image.

We collect and process User Content to provide the core functionality of the Service, including analyzing facial features, generating an overall attractiveness score, creating feature-by-feature breakdowns, producing written summaries, generating detailed notes, providing personalized appearance-related tips, maintaining Your history or previous results, and improving the Services as described in this Policy.

User Content, including uploaded images and camera-captured images, may be stored persistently within or in connection with the App so that You can access history and previous results. Images and analysis results are intended to be deleted upon deletion of the App, subject to technical limitations, device behavior, backups, legal obligations, and anonymized or aggregated data uses described in this Policy.

2.1.3 Facial Feature Analysis and Generated Results

The Service may generate outputs based on Your User Content, including an overall attractiveness score, individual feature scores or assessments, symmetry analysis, eyes, masculinity, jawline, skin, hair, nose, lips, overall harmony, short written summaries, detailed notes, personalized improvement tips, and historical result records. These generated results may be stored to provide Your history, allow You to view prior analyses, improve the user experience, troubleshoot issues, and enhance the Service.

2.1.4 Camera and Photo Library Access

The Service may request access to Your device camera or photo library so that You can take a selfie, select a photo, upload an image, or otherwise submit User Content for analysis. Such access is used to enable the functionality You request. You may be able to manage camera and photo permissions through Your device settings.

2.1.5 Sensitive Data and Appearance-Related Information

Photos, selfies, facial images, and appearance-related analysis may be considered sensitive or personal information under certain laws or in certain jurisdictions. We use this information to provide the Services requested by You, maintain Your history, improve the Service, and otherwise as described in this Policy. Mog Rater is designed for entertainment and informational purposes and is not intended to determine identity, authenticate users, make legally significant decisions, or infer protected characteristics.

2.2 Use of Your Personal Data

We may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

To provide, maintain, operate, and improve Our Service.
To manage Your account, if accounts are offered or required.
To perform contracts with You, including purchases or other transactions through the Service.
To contact You by email, telephone, SMS, push notification, or other equivalent communication regarding updates, security, functionality, purchases, or requested services.
To provide news, offers, or general information about goods or services similar to those You have purchased or enquired about, unless You have opted out.
To manage Your requests and respond to customer support inquiries.
For business transfers, including mergers, sales, acquisitions, restructurings, financing, or similar transactions.
To analyze Your selfies, photos, facial images, and related User Content to generate attractiveness scores, feature analysis, written summaries, detailed notes, personalized tips, and history records.
To maintain Your history of previous results, where applicable.
To improve, train, test, evaluate, and enhance Our artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, algorithms, scoring systems, and Services using anonymized and/or aggregated data, including User Content and analysis results, where such data is not intended to identify You personally.
To identify usage trends, evaluate promotions, improve the Service, and improve Your experience.
To protect the security, integrity, and lawful operation of the Services.
2.3 AI, Automated Processing, Facial Analysis, and Anonymized Training Data

The Service may use automated systems, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, algorithms, or other automated technologies to analyze User Content and generate outputs, including attractiveness scores, facial feature analysis, summaries, detailed notes, personalized tips, and history records.

We may use anonymized and/or aggregated data, including User Content, facial feature analysis results, usage patterns, and related outputs, to improve, train, test, evaluate, and enhance Our algorithms, models, scoring systems, and Services. Such anonymized or aggregated data is intended not to identify You personally.

We do not intentionally use identifiable Personal Data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models without appropriate safeguards or as otherwise described in this Policy.

The Service does not identify individuals, authenticate identity, or use facial recognition. Facial images and related data are used only for feature analysis, scoring, summaries, tips, history, app functionality, and improvement of the Services as described in this Policy.

2.4 No Facial Recognition, Identity Verification, or Biometric Identification

Mog Rater analyzes facial features for entertainment and informational purposes. We do not use the App to identify You or any other person, verify identity, authenticate account access, match faces against databases, or perform facial recognition. The App’s analysis may involve detection or evaluation of visible facial features for purposes such as scoring symmetry, eyes, masculinity, jawline, skin, hair, nose, lips, and overall harmony.

2.5 No Emotional, Psychological, or Character Profiling

The Service is not intended to infer mental health status, emotional state, personality, moral character, trustworthiness, protected characteristics, or any legally significant personal traits. Appearance-related outputs are generated for entertainment and informational purposes and should not be treated as definitive, objective, medical, psychological, or professional conclusions.

2.6 Sharing of Your Personal Data

We may share Your Personal Data in the following situations:

With service providers, third-party vendors, consultants, and business partners: We may share Your Personal Data with these parties to provide services on Our behalf, including cloud hosting, storage, analytics, customer support, payment processing, AI, machine learning, computer vision, image processing, monitoring, and analyzing use of the Services.
For business transfers: We may share or transfer Personal Data in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, acquisition, or similar transaction.
With Your consent: We may disclose Your Personal Data for any other purpose with Your consent.
With law enforcement: We may disclose Personal Data if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities. To the extent We receive a law enforcement request for Your Personal Data, We will promptly notify You and provide a copy of the request unless legally prohibited.
For legal, safety, and security purposes: We may share information to comply with legal obligations, protect rights or property, prevent or investigate wrongdoing, protect personal safety, or protect against legal liability.
2.7 User Responsibility for Images

You should only upload or submit images that You have the legal right and permission to use. You should not upload images of other people without their consent. You should not upload images of minors. You are responsible for the User Content You submit through the Service.

2.8 Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Personal Data to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce Our legal agreements and policies.

User Content, uploaded selfies, camera-captured images, facial images, attractiveness scores, feature breakdowns, written summaries, detailed notes, personalized tips, history records, and related outputs may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain Your history, improve the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce Our agreements and policies.

Images and analysis results are stored persistently for use within the App and history feature, but are intended to be deleted upon deletion of the App, subject to technical limitations, device behavior, backups, legal obligations, and anonymized or aggregated data uses described in this Policy. We do not guarantee permanent storage, backup, availability, or recoverability of any uploaded images, analysis results, history, or other content.

Anonymized and/or aggregated data may be retained and used for analytics, research, model training, algorithm improvement, scoring improvement, and Service improvement, where such data is not intended to identify You personally.

The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when used to strengthen security or improve functionality, or where We are legally required to retain it longer.

2.9 Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company’s operating offices and in other places where the parties involved in processing are located. This means information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside Your state, province, country, or other jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in Your jurisdiction. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by submission of such information represents Your agreement to that transfer.

The Company will take steps reasonably necessary to ensure Your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and no transfer of Personal Data will take place to an organization or country unless adequate controls are in place.

2.10 Security of Your Personal Data

The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us, but no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Personal Data, We cannot guarantee absolute security.

3. Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. You should not upload images of minors to the Service. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with personal information, or that an image of a minor has been submitted through the Service, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected personal information from anyone under 13 without verification of parental consent, We will take steps to remove that information from Our servers.

If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing Your information, and Your country requires consent from a parent, We may require Your parent’s consent before We collect and use that information.

4. Links to Other Apps or Websites

Our Service may contain links to other apps or websites that are not operated by Us. If You click a third-party link, You will be directed to that third party’s app or website. We strongly advise You to review the privacy policy of every app and website You visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party apps, websites, or services.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will strive to let You know via email and/or a prominent notice on Our Service before the change becomes effective and update the Last updated date at the top of this Privacy Policy.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for changes. Changes are effective when posted on this page.

6. Supplemental Terms and Conditions for Certain Regions

6.1 Europe

If You are located in the European Economic Area (the EEA), Switzerland, or the United Kingdom (the UK), Our legal basis for collecting and using Personal Data will depend on the Personal Data concerned and the context in which We collect it. We normally collect Personal Data where We have Your consent, where We need the information to perform a contract with You, or where processing is in Our legitimate interests and not overridden by Your rights. In some cases, We may have a legal obligation to collect Personal Data.

Some User Content and facial-image-related data may be considered sensitive personal data in certain jurisdictions. Where required, We rely on Your consent or another lawful basis to process such data for the App functionality You request.

When We share Personal Data of individuals in the EEA, Switzerland, or UK with third parties, We use legal mechanisms to safeguard the transfer, including European Commission-approved standard contractual clauses and additional safeguards where appropriate.

You may have rights to request access, correction, updates, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of Your Personal Data. If We process Personal Data with Your consent, You may withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. 6.2 California

This section applies to California residents and individuals whose information has been collected in California. WhatsGoodApps has included this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, and related regulations (collectively, CCPA).

6.2.1 Categories of Personal Information

Depending on how You use the Service, We may collect categories of personal information such as identifiers, internet or other electronic network activity information, commercial information, inferences or generated outputs, and User Content such as images or facial images submitted by You. Some information, including account credentials, payment-related confirmation data, permission-based media access, or facial images, may be considered sensitive personal information depending on applicable law and context.

We use such information to provide the Service, generate analysis results, maintain history, improve and secure the Service, process purchases through third-party payment processors, respond to requests, and comply with legal obligations.

6.2.2 Your Rights and Choices

California residents may have rights to know/access, delete, correct, and receive information about collection, use, disclosure, sharing, or sale of personal information, subject to applicable exceptions.

WhatsGoodApps does not sell Your personal information, as defined under the CCPA. If in the future We sell or share Your personal information in a manner that requires an opt-out right, We will provide notice and a method to exercise that right.

We use sensitive personal information, if collected, for purposes reasonably necessary to provide the Service, generate requested analysis results, maintain App functionality, protect security, comply with law, and otherwise as permitted by applicable law.

6.2.3 Exercising Your Rights

To exercise access, data portability, deletion, correction, or applicable opt-out rights, You may submit a verifiable consumer request by email to support@whatsgoodapps.com.

A verifiable consumer request must provide sufficient information that allows Us to reasonably verify Your identity or authority to make the request and describe Your request with enough detail for Us to understand, evaluate, and respond. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority.

We endeavor to respond to verifiable consumer requests within the time required by applicable law. If We require more time, We will inform You in writing of the extension period and reason. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to a verifiable consumer request unless permitted by applicable law.
