Because You may choose to provide personal memories, family stories, names, relationship details, emotional reflections, or other sensitive information, the information You submit may be personal or sensitive in nature. You should only provide information that You are comfortable submitting and that You have the right to provide.
2.1.3 Photos, Images, and Visual Content
The Service may allow You to upload or submit a photo or image of Your loved one or related materials (collectively, “User Content”). User Content may include a person’s likeness, face, background, surroundings, image metadata, and other contextual information appearing in the image.
We collect and process User Content to provide the functionality You request, including personalizing the memorial profile, displaying or associating an image with the conversational likeness, maintaining Your in-app profile or history where applicable, and improving the Services as described in this Policy.
2.1.4 Voice Recordings and Microphone Access
The Service may request access to Your device microphone so that You can record Yourself describing Your loved one, sharing memories, or providing details that were not captured through the guided questions. Such recordings may include Your voice, emotional reflections, background sounds, and any personal information You choose to speak.
We may process voice recordings to personalize the Service, extract or summarize information, generate transcripts where applicable, create or enhance the memory profile, and improve the Services as described in this Policy. You may be able to manage microphone permissions through Your device settings.
2.1.5 Text Conversations, Memory Profiles, and Generated Outputs
The Service may generate and store text-based conversations, generated responses, memory profiles, prompts, summaries, personalization data, conversation history, and related outputs. These generated results may be stored to enable the core App experience, allow You to continue conversations over time, maintain Your in-app history, troubleshoot issues, and improve the Service.
2.1.6 Device Permissions
The Service may request access to Your device microphone, camera, photo library, or media files so that You can record audio, upload or select photos, or otherwise submit User Content for use in the App. Such access is used to enable the functionality You request. You may be able to manage these permissions through Your device settings.

Loved one information, questionnaire answers, memories, recordings, transcripts, uploaded photos, User Content, memory profiles, prompts, text conversations, generated responses, summaries, chat history, and related outputs may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain Your in-app history, improve the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce Our agreements and policies.
All data associated with the App may be permanently lost if You delete the App, delete app data, change devices, lose access to Your device, lose phone data, clear local or associated App storage, or experience data corruption. This may include conversations, memory profiles, recordings, uploaded photos, questionnaire answers, loved one information, generated outputs, history records, and other content. Recovery may not be possible, and WhatsGoodApps does not guarantee backup, permanent storage, availability, or recoverability of any content or data.
Anonymized and/or aggregated data may be retained and used for analytics, research, model training, algorithm improvement, personalization improvement, and Service improvement, where such data is not intended to identify You personally.
The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when used to strengthen security or improve functionality, or where We are legally required to retain it longer.
2.9 Transfer of Your Personal Data
Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company’s operating offices and in other places where the parties involved in processing are located.
