1. Introduction

This privacy policy (the “Policy”) applies to WhatsGoodApps LLC (“WhatsGoodApps,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”), developer of the Tome Ai app (the “App,” “Service,” or “Services”).

As used in this Policy, “Personal Data” means any information that relates to, describes, or could be used to identify an individual, directly or indirectly.

Definitions: Throughout this Policy, “You” or “Your” means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable. “Company” refers to WhatsGoodApps LLC. “Usage Data” refers to data collected automatically, either generated by use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.

Applicability: This Policy applies to Personal Data that WhatsGoodApps collects, uses, and discloses in connection with Tome Ai, including: (i) data collected through the Services; (ii) prompts, topics, instructions, uploaded files, presentation materials, documents, spreadsheets, text, Markdown, HTML, webpage URLs, YouTube links, transcripts, captions, notes, outlines, logos, images, brand assets, and other content You voluntarily submit; (iii) AI-generated presentations, slide decks, slide content, speaker notes, charts, summaries, document conversions, redesigns, exports, project history, usage records, and other outputs that may be generated or stored through the App; (iv) data collected through improving, testing, training, evaluating, and enhancing the App, including through anonymized and/or aggregated data as described in this Policy; (v) data collected from customer support communications; and (vi) data collected from third-party sources where applicable. When You make purchases, We use third-party payment processors or app store providers to collect credit card or other financial information. WhatsGoodApps does not store the credit card or payment information You provide, only confirmation that payment was made and information necessary to validate purchases, subscriptions, entitlements, and usage allowances.

Changes: We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal, regulatory, operational requirements, Our practices, and other factors. Please check this Privacy Policy periodically for updates. If any changes are unacceptable to You, You should cease using the Services. When required under applicable law, We will notify You of changes to this Privacy Policy.

2.1.2 Uploaded Files, Presentation Content, and User Content

The Service may allow You to enter prompts, topics, instructions, notes, outlines, text, Markdown, HTML, webpage URLs, YouTube links, or other information, and may allow You to upload or submit files and materials such as PowerPoint presentations, PDFs, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, text files, Markdown files, HTML files, images, logos, brand assets, custom templates, and other presentation-related content. Such prompts, files, materials, links, information, and content You submit through the App are referred to in this Policy as “User Content.”

User Content may include document text, file names, file types, file sizes, slide content, tables, chart data, spreadsheet data, formulas where available, sheet names, column headers, embedded images, graphics, comments, notes, metadata where technically available, logos, trademarks, brand guidelines, company materials, webpage content, video titles, captions, transcripts, and other information contained in or associated with materials You submit.

You should avoid submitting highly sensitive, confidential, private, proprietary, regulated, or third-party personal information unless You have the legal right and authority to do so. This may include trade secrets, confidential business plans, non-public financial information, client materials, employee records, student records, medical information, legal documents, personal data about other individuals, or information subject to contractual or legal restrictions.

You are responsible for ensuring that You have the rights, permissions, licenses, and consents necessary to upload, submit, process, convert, summarize, redesign, generate, export, use, or share any User Content through the App.

2.1.3 AI-Generated Presentations, Speaker Notes, and Generated Results

The Service may generate outputs based on Your User Content, including presentation outlines, slide decks, slide titles, slide text, summaries, speaker notes, scripts, talking points, charts, tables, design layouts, themes, visual arrangements, document conversions, presentation redesigns, exports, previews, project history, and other generated results. These generated results may be stored to provide Your project history, allow You to view or revise prior creations, support App functionality, troubleshoot issues, enforce usage allowances, validate entitlements, and enhance the Service.

Generated results may include synthetic or AI-created content. You are responsible for reviewing generated presentations, speaker notes, charts, summaries, recommendations, citations, file conversions, and other outputs before relying on, presenting, publishing, submitting, distributing, or otherwise using them.

2.1.4 Third-Party Content Inputs, YouTube Links, and Webpage URLs

The Service may allow You to submit third-party content inputs, such as webpage URLs, HTML, YouTube links, video titles, transcripts, captions, metadata, accessible webpage content, or other information from third-party apps, websites, videos, or services. The App may process such inputs to generate presentations, summaries, speaker notes, outlines, or other outputs.

The App may not be able to access all third-party content, and accessible third-party content, transcripts, captions, metadata, or webpage content may be incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, restricted, or subject to change. You should not submit private, paywalled, confidential, restricted, unauthorized, or third-party content unless You have the right and authority to do so.

2.1.5 Spreadsheet, Chart, and Business Data

The Service may allow You to upload or submit spreadsheets, tables, data, charts, financial information, business metrics, KPIs, or other structured information to generate presentation content, summaries, visualizations, charts, insights, or reports. Spreadsheet-related User Content may include file names, sheet names, table values, formulas where available, column headers, chart data, calculated summaries, and generated insights.

You should avoid submitting sensitive financial, client, employee, medical, legal, regulated, confidential, or proprietary data unless You have the legal right and authority to do so. You are responsible for reviewing any generated charts, summaries, calculations, insights, or conclusions before using or sharing them.

2.1.6 App Permissions

The Service may request access to certain device features, such as photo library access, file access, document picker access, notifications, local storage, or other permissions, only as needed to provide App functionality. You may be able to manage App permissions through Your device settings.

2.2 Use of Your Personal Data

We may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

To provide, maintain, operate, and improve Our Service.
To manage Your account, if accounts are offered or required.
To perform contracts with You, including purchases, subscriptions, usage allowances, one-time purchases, feature entitlements, or other transactions through the Service.
To contact You by email, telephone, SMS, push notification, or other equivalent communication regarding updates, security, functionality, purchases, subscriptions, entitlements, usage limits, or requested services.
To provide news, offers, or general information about goods or services similar to those You have purchased or enquired about, unless You have opted out.
To manage Your requests and respond to customer support inquiries.
For business transfers, including mergers, sales, acquisitions, restructurings, financing, or similar transactions.
To process User Content and generate AI-powered presentations, slide decks, presentation outlines, slide content, summaries, speaker notes, charts, visual layouts, document conversions, presentation redesigns, previews, exports, and other generated results.
To extract text, data, tables, chart information, captions, transcripts, metadata, or other content from files, links, documents, spreadsheets, webpages, videos, or other submitted materials where needed to provide the requested App functionality.
To maintain Your project history, presentation history, conversion history, export history, and previous creations, where applicable.
To track usage limits, subscription entitlements, feature access, free usage, Pro usage, Premium/Business usage, Enterprise usage, monthly or yearly subscription status, and other plan-related allowances.
To validate purchases, subscriptions, one-time purchases, entitlements, and access to paid or limited features.
To enforce practical, technical, operational, security, file-size, processing-time, storage, output-size, availability, platform, fair-use, anti-abuse, and content-policy limits, including for any Enterprise or unlimited plan.
To improve, train, test, evaluate, and enhance Our artificial intelligence, machine learning, algorithms, document-processing systems, file-conversion systems, presentation-generation systems, and Services using anonymized and/or aggregated data, where such data is not intended to identify You personally.
To identify usage trends, evaluate promotions, improve the Service, and improve Your experience.
To protect the security, integrity, and lawful operation of the Services.
2.3 AI, Automated Processing, and Anonymized Training Data

The Service may use automated systems, artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, document analysis, file-conversion tools, spreadsheet analysis, presentation-generation systems, layout and design systems, algorithms, or other automated technologies to analyze User Content and generate outputs, including presentations, slide decks, outlines, summaries, speaker notes, charts, presentation redesigns, conversions, exports, previews, and history records.

We may use anonymized and/or aggregated data, including usage patterns, prompt categories, feature selections, generated output characteristics, technical performance data, error data, conversion performance data, and related App activity, to improve, train, test, evaluate, and enhance Our algorithms, models, document-processing systems, presentation-generation systems, file-conversion systems, and Services. Such anonymized or aggregated data is intended not to identify You personally.

We do not intentionally use identifiable Personal Data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models without appropriate safeguards or as otherwise described in this Policy. If the App or a third-party AI, cloud, file-conversion, document-processing, or infrastructure provider processes uploaded files, prompts, User Content, or generated outputs to provide the requested Service, such processing is performed to operate the App functionality You request and as described in this Policy.

2.4 Subscriptions, Entitlements, Usage Limits, and Enterprise Practical Limits

The App may be available for free in a limited capacity and may offer paid subscription tiers such as Pro, Premium/Business, and Enterprise. Each tier may include different or successively larger limits on presentation generations, number of presentations, number of slides per presentation, file uploads, file sizes, exports, conversions, AI usage, available features, priority processing, support options, and other plan benefits. Each tier may be offered with monthly and yearly subscription options.

We may collect and process subscription status, purchase validation data, entitlement information, free usage status, Pro usage, Premium/Business usage, Enterprise usage, monthly or yearly subscription status, feature access, usage allowance data, presentation generation counts, slide counts, export access, renewal and cancellation confirmation data, and related technical or usage information to provide the Service, validate purchases, enforce plan limits, prevent abuse, and maintain platform integrity.

Enterprise plans or other plans may be described as including unlimited presentations, unlimited slides per presentation, or other unlimited features. We may process technical and usage data to apply practical, technical, operational, security, file-size, processing-time, storage, output-size, availability, platform, fair-use, anti-abuse, content-policy, and other limits necessary to operate the Service and protect other users.

2.5 Sharing of Your Personal Data

We may share Your Personal Data in the following situations:

With service providers, third-party vendors, consultants, and business partners: We may share Your Personal Data with these parties to provide services on Our behalf, including cloud hosting, storage, analytics, customer support, payment processing, AI, machine learning, document processing, file conversion, automated analysis, monitoring, and analyzing use of the Services.
With AI, document-processing, file-conversion, cloud, and infrastructure providers: We may share uploaded files, prompts, User Content, generated outputs, project data, technical metadata, or related information with third-party AI, document-processing, file-conversion, cloud, storage, or infrastructure providers as reasonably necessary to generate requested presentations, slide decks, summaries, speaker notes, charts, conversions, redesigns, exports, and related App functionality.
With analytics, attribution, advertising, crash reporting, and subscription management providers: We may use third-party tools or software development kits to help Us understand App usage, measure performance, attribute installs, process subscription status, validate purchases, diagnose crashes, enforce usage limits, and improve the Services. These providers may process device identifiers, usage events, purchase-related confirmation data, diagnostic information, and related technical information in accordance with their own privacy practices and Our instructions where applicable.
For business transfers: We may share or transfer Personal Data in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, acquisition, or similar transaction.
With Your consent: We may disclose Your Personal Data for any other purpose with Your consent.
With law enforcement: We may disclose Personal Data if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities. To the extent We receive a law enforcement request for Your Personal Data, We will promptly notify You and provide a copy of the request unless legally prohibited.

2.6 User Responsibility for Submitted Information and Shared Outputs

You are responsible for the information and User Content You submit through the Service. You should only submit prompts, files, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, links, text, images, logos, brand assets, and other content that You have the legal right and permission to provide. You should avoid submitting private information about another person, confidential business information, client materials, restricted documents, proprietary materials, or regulated data without appropriate permission and authority. You should not submit information or User Content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, infringing, confidential without authorization, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate.

You are also responsible for how You save, export, publish, present, submit, distribute, or otherwise share AI-generated presentations, slide decks, speaker notes, charts, summaries, document conversions, exports, and other outputs. You should review all generated outputs before using them and should not use them in a deceptive, misleading, unlawful, infringing, harmful, unauthorized, plagiarized, or inappropriate manner.

2.7 Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Personal Data to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce Our legal agreements and policies.

User Content, uploaded files, prompts, submitted materials, generated presentations, slide decks, speaker notes, summaries, charts, previews, exports, project history, presentation history, conversion history, usage history, subscription status, purchase validation information, entitlement information, usage allowance information, and related App activity may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain Your project history, validate purchases and entitlements, enforce usage limits, improve the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce Our agreements and policies.

Uploaded files, generated outputs, exported files, and project history may be stored persistently for use within the App and history feature, if such features are offered, but may be deleted or become unavailable if You delete the App, change devices, clear App data, lose device data, delete Your account if account functionality is offered, cancel a subscription, exceed storage limitations, or if storage is otherwise removed or unavailable. Deletion may be subject to technical limitations, device behavior, backups, legal obligations, and anonymized or aggregated data uses described in this Policy. We do not guarantee permanent storage, backup, availability, or recoverability of any uploaded files, generated presentations, exports, project history, usage allowances, or other content.

Anonymized and/or aggregated data may be retained and used for analytics, research, model training, algorithm improvement, document-processing improvement, presentation-generation improvement, file-conversion improvement, and Service improvement, where such data is not intended to identify You personally.

The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when used to strengthen security or improve functionality, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, or where We are legally required to retain it longer.

2.8 Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company’s operating offices and in other places where the parties involved in processing are located. This means information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside Your state, province, country, or other jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in Your jurisdiction. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by submission of such information represents Your agreement to that transfer.

The Company will take steps reasonably necessary to ensure Your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and no transfer of Personal Data will take place to an organization or country unless adequate controls are in place.

2.9 Security of Your Personal Data

The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us, but no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Personal Data, We cannot guarantee absolute security.

3. Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with personal information through the Service, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected personal information from anyone under 13 without verification of parental consent, We will take steps to remove that information from Our servers.

If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing Your information, and Your country requires consent from a parent, We may require Your parent’s consent before We collect and use that information.

Our Service may contain links to other apps or websites that are not operated by Us. If You click a third-party link, You will be directed to that third party’s app or website. We strongly advise You to review the privacy policy of every app and website You visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party apps, websites, or services.

6. Supplemental Terms and Conditions for Certain Regions

6.1 Europe

If You are located in the European Economic Area (the EEA), Switzerland, or the United Kingdom (the UK), Our legal basis for collecting and using Personal Data will depend on the Personal Data concerned and the context in which We collect it. We normally collect Personal Data where We have Your consent, where We need the information to perform a contract with You, or where processing is in Our legitimate interests and not overridden by Your rights. In some cases, We may have a legal obligation to collect Personal Data.

Uploaded files, prompts, presentation content, documents, spreadsheets, webpages, transcripts, captions, speaker notes, brand assets, generated outputs, and other User Content may contain personal data or sensitive personal data depending on what You submit, the jurisdiction, and applicable law. Where required, We rely on Your consent or another lawful basis to process such data for the App functionality You request.

When We share Personal Data of individuals in the EEA, Switzerland, or UK with third parties, We use legal mechanisms to safeguard the transfer, including European Commission-approved standard contractual clauses and additional safeguards where appropriate.

You may have rights to request access, correction, updates, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of Your Personal Data. If We process Personal Data with Your consent, You may withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. Depending on how You use the Service, We may collect categories of personal information such as identifiers, internet or other electronic network activity information, commercial information, subscription and entitlement information, inferences or generated outputs, User Content such as uploaded files, submitted presentation content, prompts, documents, spreadsheets, text, links, webpage content, transcripts, captions, brand assets, generated presentations, speaker notes, charts, summaries, exports, project history, usage history, purchase validation information, device information, and diagnostic information. Some information, including account credentials, payment-related confirmation data, permission-based device access, uploaded files, submitted materials, confidential information, personal data contained in documents, or generated outputs, may be considered sensitive personal information depending on applicable law and context.

We use such information to provide the Service, generate requested AI presentations and related outputs, convert files, maintain project history, validate purchases and subscriptions, track usage allowances and entitlements, enforce practical usage limits, improve and secure the Service, respond to requests, and comply with legal obligations.

6.2.2 Your Rights and Choices

California residents may have rights to know/access, delete, correct, and receive information about collection, use, disclosure, sharing, or sale of personal information, subject to applicable exceptions.

WhatsGoodApps does not sell Your personal information, as defined under the CCPA. If in the future We sell or share Your personal information in a manner that requires an opt-out right, We will provide notice and a method to exercise that right.

We use sensitive personal information, if collected, for purposes reasonably necessary to provide the Service, generate requested AI presentations, convert files, maintain App functionality and project history, validate purchases and entitlements, enforce usage limits, protect security, comply with law, and otherwise as permitted by applicable law.

6.2.3 Exercising Your Rights

To exercise access, data portability, deletion, correction, or applicable opt-out rights, You may submit a verifiable consumer request by email to support@whatsgoodapps.com.

A verifiable consumer request must provide sufficient information that allows Us to reasonably verify Your identity or authority to make the request and describe Your request with enough detail for Us to understand, evaluate, and respond. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority.

We endeavor to respond to verifiable consumer requests within the time required by applicable law. If We require more time, We will inform You in writing of the extension period and reason. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to a verifiable consumer request unless permitted by applicable law.
