Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 31, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) applies to WhatsGoodApps LLC (“WhatsGoodApps,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”), developer and provider of the Argument Wars – Fast Feud mobile application (the “App,” “Service,” or “Services”).

This Policy explains how We collect, use, disclose, retain, and otherwise process information when You access or use the Services. Argument Wars – Fast Feud is an account-based community application in which users may create and accept cases, submit written statements and supporting pictures, identify what is at stake, vote, comment, reply to comments, purchase Sneak Peek vote snapshots, and purchase Featured Case placement.

As used in this Policy, “Personal Data” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with an individual or device. “User Content” includes case statements, supporting pictures, profile pictures, comments, replies, usernames, stated stakes, and other content submitted through the Services. “You” and “Your” mean the person accessing or using the Services.

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, Our practices, service providers, platform requirements, legal requirements, or other circumstances. The updated Policy may be posted within the App, on Our website, or otherwise made available to You. Where required by applicable law, We will provide additional notice or request consent.

2. Summary of Our Privacy Practices

An account is required to use the App. Accounts may be created using an email address and password, Google sign-in, or Sign in with Apple.
Users create a public username, may upload a profile picture, and may connect with friends and appear on friend-based leaderboards.
Account information, friend relationships, User Content, votes, comments, replies, reports, blocks, purchase records, and related technical information are stored or processed using Firebase and other service providers.
Public cases are visible through public areas of the App. Private cases are accessible to people who possess the case link and are not confidential communications.
Individual votes are not shown to other users, but We associate votes with accounts internally to enforce one vote per case and protect the integrity of voting.
Completed cases and associated User Content may remain available indefinitely, subject to account deletion, deidentification, moderation, legal requirements, and this Policy.
Sneak Peek and Featured Case are consumable in-app purchases processed by Apple. We do not receive or store Your full payment-card details.
The App may use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Apple analytics and diagnostics, and similar tools to understand usage, diagnose errors, maintain security, and improve the Services.
Users may report cases and comments and may block other users. Reports are reviewed by the Fast Feud team and may result in content removal, account restrictions, or other action.
Users may initiate permanent account deletion within the App. Account deletion removes the user’s profile, friend connections, votes, comments and replies, and cases still in progress; completed cases may remain for the other party with the deleted user’s name and profile association removed.
The App may use human moderation and may also use automated tools to identify prohibited, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
We do not sell Personal Data or share Personal Data for cross-context behavioral advertising. The App does not send marketing emails.
3. Information We Collect

3.1 Account and Authentication Information

When You create or use an account, We may collect or process:

Your email address;
Your password or other authentication credentials necessary to create and secure an account;
Your public username;
A unique account or user identifier;
Email-verification, login, authentication, password-reset, and account-security information;
Account creation date, recent login dates, account status, suspension status, and deletion-request information;
Information provided by Google when You use Google sign-in, which may include a Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile information permitted by Your Google settings; and
Information provided by Apple when You use Sign in with Apple, which may include an Apple account identifier, name, email address, or Apple private-relay email address, depending on Your choices and Apple’s practices.
Authentication information may be processed by Firebase, Google, Apple, or another authentication service used with the App. We do not intend to make Your email address, password, authentication identifier, or login records publicly visible.

3.2 Profile, Friends, and Leaderboard Information

The App requires You to create a username and may permit You to upload a profile picture. Your username and profile picture may be displayed with Your cases, comments, replies, friend connections, leaderboard entries, and other activity in the App.

The App may allow users to add or connect with friends. We may collect and store friend requests, accepted friend relationships, related account identifiers, status information, and timestamps. Friend relationships may be used to provide friend lists, friend-based activity, invitations, and leaderboard features.

The App may display a Friends Leaderboard or similar feature using information such as usernames, profile pictures, ranking position, and cases won during a stated time period. Leaderboard information may be visible to the relevant user’s friends or other audience identified within the App.

Other users will not be provided with a complete centralized history of every case, comment, reply, or vote associated with Your account merely by opening Your profile. However, Your username and profile picture may appear anywhere Your content or activity is displayed, and other users may encounter the same account across multiple cases, discussions, friend lists, or leaderboards.

3.3 Case Information and Supporting Pictures

When a case is proposed, accepted, created, or maintained, We may collect and store:

The initiating account and invited account;
The invitation, acceptance, rejection, withdrawal, activation, expiration, completion, and other case-status information;
Each party’s written statement;
Up to two supporting pictures submitted by each party;
The money, promise, action, item, or other matter stated to be at stake;
The selected case duration, including one day, one week, or one month;
Whether the case is designated public or private;
Case identifiers, timestamps, vote totals, final results, and status history;
Featured status, placement information, and related purchase or eligibility records; and
Other information voluntarily included by the parties in their submissions.
Users may voluntarily submit information about themselves or other people, including information that may be personal, sensitive, embarrassing, disputed, or private. Our Terms of Service prohibit users from submitting content they do not have the right to provide, including certain confidential, unlawful, infringing, threatening, harassing, defamatory, intimate, or sensitive information. Nevertheless, We cannot guarantee that users will comply with those rules.

Supporting pictures are selected through the device’s photo picker. Depending on the file and the way the device provides it, We may receive the picture itself and technical metadata such as file type, file size, image dimensions, upload date, and other file information. We do not intentionally use embedded precise-location metadata to provide the Services. We may remove or reduce certain metadata where technically available, but You should not assume that all metadata will always be removed before a picture is stored or displayed.

3.4 Public Cases and Private Link-Access Cases

Public cases: A case designated public may be displayed in public areas of the App, including Home, Featured, Popular, feeds, discovery surfaces, and other areas where cases are shown. The case, statements, supporting pictures, usernames, profile pictures, comments, replies, total votes, and final result may be visible to other users.

Private cases: A case designated private is intended to be omitted from public discovery surfaces and is accessible through its unique link. Anyone who receives, obtains, or is forwarded that link may be able to view the case, vote, read comments, and participate as permitted by the App. A private-case link cannot currently be revoked or replaced. Private cases are not confidential communications, and selecting “private” does not prevent recipients from forwarding the link, taking screenshots, copying content, or sharing information outside the App.

Public and private cases may remain available after they end. Other people may copy, save, quote, screenshot, or redistribute information they can access. We cannot guarantee that information will be removed from copies, screenshots, search results, device backups, or third-party services outside Our control.

3.5 Invitations and Participation Information

Users identify or invite another registered user manually through the App. The App does not currently request access to Your device contacts for this purpose. We may process the invited user’s username, account identifier, invitation status, notification status, and related timestamps.

A proposed case does not become an active case unless the invited registered user accepts. We may retain information about proposed, accepted, rejected, withdrawn, expired, or otherwise incomplete invitations for operational, security, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention, and recordkeeping purposes.

3.6 Voting Information

When You vote, We may collect and store:

Your account identifier;
The case identifier;
The side You selected;
The date and time of the vote;
Information used to prevent duplicate voting, automation, fraud, or manipulation; and
Whether the vote was accepted, rejected, invalidated, or removed.
Individual voting choices are not displayed to other users. However, voting is not anonymous to WhatsGoodApps because We must associate a vote with an account to enforce one vote per user per case and to protect the integrity and security of voting.

During an ongoing case, the App may display the total number of votes without ordinarily showing the number of votes for each side. A user who purchases Sneak Peek receives a snapshot of the side-by-side vote breakdown at the time of that purchase. When the case ends, the final vote breakdown may be displayed.

3.7 Comments and Replies

When You post a comment or reply, We may collect and store the text, Your account identifier, username, profile picture, the related case or comment, timestamps, moderation status, report status, and related technical information.

Comments and replies on public cases are visible to users who can access the public case. Comments and replies on private cases are visible to people who can access the case through its link. Comments and replies may remain available after the case ends while Your account remains active, but Your comments and replies are deleted when You complete permanent account deletion, subject to limited retention of moderation, security, legal, or backup records as described in this Policy.

3.8 In-App Purchases

The App may offer the following consumable in-app purchases through Apple’s in-app purchase system:

Sneak Peek: Provides a snapshot of the current vote breakdown for a selected ongoing case at the time of purchase.
Feature a Case: Provides eligible placement and visibility benefits for a selected case for approximately 24 hours, subject to the App’s rules and continued case eligibility.
Apple processes payment information under Apple’s terms and privacy practices. WhatsGoodApps does not receive or store Your full credit-card number, debit-card number, bank-account information, or other complete payment credentials.

We may receive or process limited purchase-related information, including:

The product identifier;
An Apple transaction, receipt, or purchase-validation identifier;
Purchase date and status;
The account and case associated with the purchase;
The Sneak Peek snapshot request or Featured Case activation and expiration;
Refund, revocation, chargeback, or fraud-related status; and
Information needed to validate the purchase, provide the purchased functionality, respond to support requests, and prevent abuse.
Both purchase types may be purchased multiple times as permitted by the App. A purchase does not reveal Your full payment information to other users.

3.9 Device, Network, Log, and Security Information

When You use the Services, We and Our service providers may automatically collect or generate technical information such as:

Internet Protocol (“IP”) address;
Device type, operating-system version, App version, language, and general settings;
Device, installation, session, authentication, or service identifiers;
Dates and times of access, screens or features used, and interaction events;
Server requests, error records, security events, and activity logs;
Crash reports, performance information, and diagnostics;
Approximate location inferred from IP address, where generated or used for security, fraud prevention, analytics, or legal compliance; and
Signals used to detect multiple accounts, bots, spam, coordinated manipulation, unauthorized access, or other misuse.
Because the exact Firebase and technical services used may evolve, the specific technical information collected and retention period may vary. We use such information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.

3.10 Analytics and Crash Information

The App may use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, related Firebase or Google services, Apple analytics and diagnostics, and similar services. Depending on the service and Your settings, these tools may process device and installation identifiers, App version, device model, operating-system version, interaction events, session information, crash logs, performance data, IP address, and diagnostic information.

We use this information to understand how the App is used, diagnose problems, monitor reliability and security, prevent abuse, evaluate features, and improve the Services. Apple and Google may process information under their own terms and privacy practices. Certain analytics collection may depend on Your device settings, consent choices, jurisdiction, and the configuration of the App.

3.11 Notifications and Operational Communications

The App may request permission to send remote push notifications. If You enable notifications, We and Our service providers may process a device push-notification token and information necessary to send operational notices, such as case invitations, case acceptance, case activity, comments or replies, case expiration, final results, purchase or Featured status, security alerts, and important account or service communications.

The App may send operational emails necessary for account creation, email verification, password reset, login security, account deletion, support, or other essential service communications. We do not use Your email address to send marketing emails.

You may allow, restrict, or disable push notifications through Your device settings. Disabling notifications may prevent You from receiving timely information about invitations, cases, comments, purchases, or account activity, but will not by itself delete Your account or User Content.

3.12 Customer Support and Communications

If You contact Us for customer support, moderation, a privacy request, or another reason, We may collect the information You voluntarily provide, which may include:

Your name, username, email address, or account identifier;
The content of Your message;
Case identifiers, transaction information, screenshots, attachments, or supporting materials;
App version, device model, operating-system information, and diagnostic details; and
Other information reasonably necessary to investigate and respond.
Please do not send sensitive or confidential information that is unnecessary for Us to address Your request.

3.13 Reports and Blocking Information

The App allows users to report cases and comments for review. When You submit a report, We may collect and store:

Your account identifier and the identifier of the reported case, comment, content, or account;
The report category You select, such as spam or scam, harassment or bullying, hate speech, violence or threats, sexual or explicit content, or another reason;
Any optional explanation or context You provide;
The date and time of the report;
Relevant content, account, device, log, or technical information needed to investigate the report; and
The report’s review status, findings, moderation decision, and actions taken.
Reports are submitted to WhatsGoodApps for safety and moderation purposes and are not displayed as public comments or case content. Reports are reviewed by the Fast Feud team and may also be screened or prioritized using automated tools. We may preserve the reported content and related records even if the content is later removed or the reporting or reported account is deleted, where reasonably necessary for safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or enforcement.

The App also allows users to block other users. When You block another user, We may store the identifiers of the blocking and blocked accounts, the date and time of the block, and related status information. We use this information to limit or alter interactions, visibility, comments, replies, notifications, or other contact between the accounts as supported by the App. Blocking does not erase content already posted, remove screenshots or copies, or guarantee that a blocked person cannot encounter publicly available information through another account or outside the App.

4. Sources of Information

We may obtain information:

Directly from You when You register, create a profile, add friends, submit a case, upload a picture, vote, comment, reply, report content, block a user, make a purchase, contact support, or otherwise use the Services;
From other users, including when another user sends or accepts a friend request, invites You to a case, mentions You, submits information relating to You, comments, replies, reports Your content or account, blocks You, or otherwise interacts with Your content;
Automatically from Your device, the App, Firebase, servers, analytics tools, crash-reporting tools, and security systems;
From Apple in connection with App distribution, Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases, notifications, analytics, and diagnostics;
From Google in connection with Google sign-in, Firebase, analytics, diagnostics, hosting, storage, and related services; and
From service providers, professional advisers, governmental authorities, and other sources as permitted by law.
5. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

Create, authenticate, secure, maintain, and administer accounts;
Provide email, Google, and Apple sign-in;
Display usernames and profile pictures;
Provide friend connections, friend lists, and friend-based leaderboards;
Create, invite, accept, publish, display, maintain, complete, and archive cases;
Store and display case statements, supporting pictures, stated stakes, comments, and replies;
Provide public-case and private-link access controls;
Record votes, enforce one vote per case, calculate totals, and display final results;
Provide Sneak Peek snapshots and Featured Case placement;
Validate purchases, prevent purchase fraud, and respond to billing or entitlement issues;
Send operational notifications and account communications;
Operate feeds, Featured, Popular, discovery, and related placement systems;
Receive, review, investigate, and resolve reports about cases, comments, users, prohibited conduct, harassment, fraud, manipulation, and abuse;
Apply and maintain user blocks and related interaction or visibility restrictions;
Moderate content and accounts, including removing content, limiting features, suspending accounts, or taking other enforcement action;
Detect and prevent bots, duplicate accounts, coordinated voting, unauthorized access, spam, and other misuse;
Diagnose errors, crashes, outages, and performance problems;
Maintain and improve the availability, functionality, integrity, and security of the Services;
Respond to support requests and privacy-rights requests;
Enforce Our Terms of Service and other policies;
Protect the rights, property, safety, and security of WhatsGoodApps, users, and others;
Comply with legal obligations, lawful requests, court orders, and governmental requirements; and
Create aggregated or deidentified information that does not reasonably identify You.
6. Visibility and Sharing Through the Services

The Services are designed to allow users to share information with other people. The audience for information depends on the feature and the case’s visibility setting.

Public information: Usernames, profile pictures, public cases, case statements, supporting pictures, stated stakes, comments, replies, total vote counts, final vote results, and Featured status may be visible to other users through public areas of the App.
Private-link information: A private case and its associated content may be visible to anyone who has or obtains the case link. The link may be forwarded or published by recipients.
Voting information: Individual voting choices are not displayed to other users, but aggregate totals and final results may be displayed. Sneak Peek purchasers may see a snapshot of the vote breakdown for the selected case.
Friend and leaderboard information: Friend connections, usernames, profile pictures, leaderboard positions, and case-win totals may be visible to the audience identified by the relevant friend or leaderboard feature.
Reports and blocks: Reports and block relationships are not displayed as public case content or comments. We use them internally to review safety concerns and apply account or interaction controls.
Account information: Email addresses, passwords, authentication identifiers, and private login records are not intended to be displayed publicly.
You should not submit information that You want to remain confidential. Although We may provide access controls and enforce Our rules, We cannot control screenshots, copying, forwarding, offline disclosures, or other actions taken by people who access User Content.

7. Content Reporting, Blocking, Moderation, Safety, and Legal Review

Users may report a case through the case-reporting function and may report a comment or block a user through the controls associated with that comment or account. Reports may include a selected reason and optional additional context. Reports are reviewed by the Fast Feud team.

We may review, process, preserve, restrict, or disclose account information, User Content, reports, block relationships, voting records, technical information, and communications to enforce Our Terms of Service, maintain community safety, prevent fraud or manipulation, investigate complaints, comply with law, and protect users or others.

Moderation is performed by human reviewers and may also involve automated tools, filters, classifiers, pattern detection, or other technology. Automated systems may be incomplete or inaccurate, and We do not guarantee that all prohibited or harmful content will be detected before or after publication or that every report will result in removal or account action.

We may remove or restrict content; decline to publish or feature a case; disable comments; invalidate votes; preserve evidence; warn, limit, suspend, or terminate an account; or take other action when reasonably necessary. Blocking is a user-controlled safety feature and does not replace Our right to review or act on reported conduct. Users may also contact Us at support@whatsgoodapps.com regarding objectionable content, safety concerns, infringement, or abuse.

8. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose or make information available in the following circumstances:

Other users and link recipients: We disclose User Content and related account information according to the public or private-link access described in this Policy.
Firebase and Google: Firebase and related Google services may process account, authentication, database, file-storage, analytics, crash, diagnostic, network, and technical information to provide and support the Services.
Apple: Apple may process information for App distribution, Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases, transaction validation, push notifications, analytics, diagnostics, refunds, and related platform functions.
Authentication providers: Google, Apple, Firebase, or other authentication providers may process information needed to register, authenticate, and secure accounts.
Hosting, storage, security, analytics, and technical providers: We may disclose information to vendors that host data, store files, deliver notifications, analyze performance, detect abuse, secure accounts, diagnose crashes, or otherwise help operate the Services.
Moderation reviewers and safety providers: We may disclose reported content, report details, account information, block-related information, and related records to the Fast Feud team and to providers or reviewers assisting with moderation, fraud prevention, safety, security, or policy enforcement.
Professional advisers: We may disclose information to lawyers, accountants, insurers, auditors, consultants, and other advisers when reasonably necessary.
Legal and safety purposes: We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, subpoenas, court orders, or valid government requests; enforce Our agreements; investigate unlawful conduct, fraud, abuse, or security incidents; or protect the rights, property, safety, and security of WhatsGoodApps, users, or others.
Business transfers: Information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
With Your consent or direction: We may disclose information for another purpose when You consent to or direct the disclosure.
We do not sell Personal Data. We do not share Personal Data for cross-context behavioral advertising, and We do not use Personal Data to track You across apps or websites owned by other companies for targeted advertising or advertising measurement.

9. Firebase, Google, and Apple Services

The App uses Firebase, a Google service, for backend and related functionality. Depending on the final implementation and App version, Firebase services may include authentication, databases, cloud storage, analytics, crash reporting, security, server functions, messaging, and other technical services. Firebase and Google may process information in accordance with their applicable terms and privacy practices.

The App may use Google sign-in and Sign in with Apple. Google and Apple control the information processed within their account systems and may provide limited account information to the App based on Your choices and their policies.

The App is initially distributed through Apple. Apple processes in-app purchases and may provide analytics, diagnostic, notification, transaction, and authentication services. We may add Google Play distribution in the future, in which case Google may process App distribution, billing, purchase, analytics, diagnostic, and other platform information under Google’s own terms and privacy practices.

10. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, preserve the integrity of cases and discussions, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, resolve disputes, enforce Our agreements, comply with law, and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. The exact retention period depends on the category of information and the circumstances.

10.1 Accounts and Authentication Records

Account and authentication information is generally retained while Your account remains active. Certain security, login, deletion, fraud, and enforcement records may be retained after account deletion when reasonably necessary or legally permitted.

10.2 Cases, Pictures, Comments, Replies, and Votes

Completed public and private cases, supporting pictures, aggregate vote information, and related case records may remain available indefinitely to preserve the record and integrity of the case for the other party and the community. While an account remains active, comments and replies may also remain available after a case ends. Content may be removed, restricted, deidentified, or deleted because of account deletion, moderation, legal requirements, safety concerns, infringement claims, technical needs, or other legitimate reasons.

Individual voting records may be retained while Your account remains active to enforce one vote per case, preserve accurate results, detect manipulation, resolve disputes, and maintain security. When You permanently delete Your account, Your individual votes are deleted as described in Section 11, and vote totals or results may be recalculated or otherwise adjusted.

10.3 Proposed and Incomplete Cases

Information about invitations and cases that are rejected, withdrawn, expire, or never become active may be retained for a limited period or longer where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, support, dispute resolution, moderation, or legal compliance.

10.4 Purchase Records

Apple retains transaction information according to Apple’s policies. We may retain product identifiers, transaction-validation information, the account and case associated with a purchase, Featured activation records, Sneak Peek purchase records, refund or revocation status, and related records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide purchased functionality, prevent fraud, respond to support requests, maintain financial records, and comply with legal or platform requirements.

10.5 Technical, Analytics, and Diagnostic Information

Firebase, Google, Apple, and other providers may retain technical, analytics, crash, diagnostic, and security information according to their configurations and policies. Information available to WhatsGoodApps may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to diagnose issues, analyze performance, improve the Services, maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

10.6 Friends, Blocks, Reports, Support, Moderation, and Legal Records

Friend relationships and block relationships are generally retained while the relevant account remains active or until the relationship or block is removed through the App, where available. Friend relationships are deleted when the account is permanently deleted.

We may retain reports, reported-content snapshots, moderation records, complaints, safety reports, infringement notices, evidence of abuse, support communications, and legal correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, protect users, prevent repeat abuse, enforce policies, resolve disputes, establish or defend legal claims, and comply with law. These records may be retained after an account or the underlying public content is deleted where permitted by law.

10.7 Backups and Deidentified Information

Information may remain in encrypted or restricted backups for a limited period after deletion until those backups are overwritten or deleted through ordinary processes. We may retain aggregated or deidentified information for longer periods where it does not reasonably identify You and is not used to reidentify You.

11. Account Deletion and Your Privacy Choices

11.1 Account Deletion

You may permanently delete Your account through the Delete Account function within the App. The App presents a confirmation before deletion because the action cannot be undone. We may require reasonable verification before completing a deletion request.

When You permanently delete Your account, We delete Your profile, profile picture, friend relationships, individual votes, comments and replies, and any proposed, accepted, or ongoing case that is still in progress, subject to limited technical, legal, security, fraud-prevention, and backup exceptions. Access to the account is terminated, and account and authentication information that We are not legally required or otherwise permitted to retain is deleted or deidentified.

Completed cases may remain available for the other party and other people who are permitted to access the case. Your name, username, profile picture, and account association are removed or deidentified, and the former username may be replaced with a designation such as “Deleted User.” The completed case may continue to display statements, supporting pictures, stated stakes, final results, and other case content that formed part of the completed case, unless We remove or restrict that content for moderation, legal, safety, infringement, technical, or other legitimate reasons.

Deleting individual votes may cause displayed vote totals or results to be recalculated or adjusted. Deleting comments or replies may affect the context or appearance of discussion threads. Reports, moderation records, transaction records, security records, fraud-prevention records, legal records, and restricted backups may be retained as permitted or required by law even after account deletion.

Account deletion does not require Us to remove information from screenshots, copies, messages, links, search results, device backups, or third-party services outside Our control. If applicable law requires deletion of additional Personal Data or User Content, We will process the request as required.

11.2 Other Choices

Depending on Your device, location, and the App version, You may be able to:

Choose email and password, Google sign-in, or Sign in with Apple when creating an account;
Choose whether to upload a profile picture or supporting pictures;
Choose whether a new case is public or private and link-accessible;
Choose whether to vote, comment, or reply;
Report cases or comments through the in-App reporting functions;
Block other users through the available in-App controls and manage blocked relationships where the App provides that option;
Manage photo-picker permission through device settings;
Allow, restrict, or disable push notifications through device settings;
Manage Apple analytics-sharing choices through device settings;
Initiate account deletion through the App;
Stop using the App; and
Contact Us regarding Personal Data that WhatsGoodApps possesses or controls.
The App does not currently allow users to change their account email address or username. Contact Us if You believe Your account information is inaccurate or if applicable law provides a correction right.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by Us. These measures may include access controls, authentication, encryption in transit, service-provider security features, monitoring, backups, and other safeguards appropriate to the Services.

However, no account system, device, network, database, cloud service, storage method, or electronic transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security or that unauthorized persons will never access, copy, disclose, alter, or destroy information.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your password, securing Your email, Google, and Apple accounts, protecting Your device, and promptly notifying Us of suspected unauthorized account access. Because public and private-link cases are designed to be shared, access controls cannot prevent recipients from copying or redistributing information they can view.

13. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 18. You may not create an account or use the Services if You are under 18.

If You believe that a person under 18 has created an account or provided Personal Data to Us, contact Us at support@whatsgoodapps.com. We will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.

14. International Data Processing

WhatsGoodApps, Firebase, Google, Apple, and other service providers may process or store information in the United States and other countries where they or their providers operate. Data-protection laws in those locations may differ from those in Your jurisdiction.

Where required, We use appropriate contractual, organizational, or legal safeguards for transfers of Personal Data and require service providers to process information consistently with applicable law and this Policy.

15. Supplemental Terms for Certain Regions

15.1 European Economic Area, Switzerland, and United Kingdom

If You are located in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom, the legal basis for processing Personal Data depends on the information and context. We may rely on:

Performance of a contract: To create and secure Your account, provide cases, voting, comments, private links, purchases, and other requested Services;
Legitimate interests: To operate, secure, moderate, troubleshoot, improve, and protect the Services; prevent fraud, harassment, and manipulation; preserve discussion integrity; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, where those interests are not overridden by Your rights;
Consent: Where required for notifications, analytics, device permissions, or another processing activity; and
Legal obligations: To comply with applicable law, valid legal requests, tax, accounting, consumer-protection, and safety requirements.
Subject to applicable law and exceptions, You may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of Personal Data; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority.

Some rights may be limited where retention or processing is necessary to provide the Services, preserve other users’ rights and expression, maintain accurate voting and case records, prevent fraud, comply with law, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

To exercise an applicable right, contact support@whatsgoodapps.com. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify Your identity, account, request, or authority.

15.2 California

This section applies to California residents to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”), applies to WhatsGoodApps and the information at issue.

Categories of Personal Information

Depending on how You use the App, We may collect or process the following categories of Personal Data:

Identifiers: Email address, username, account identifier, authentication identifier, IP address, device or installation identifier, and transaction identifier;
Customer records information: Account, authentication, support, and transaction information;
Commercial information: Sneak Peek and Featured Case purchase records, product identifiers, transaction status, refunds, and case association;
Internet or other electronic network activity: App interactions, login history, server logs, analytics, crash data, diagnostics, security events, and voting activity;
Geolocation information: Approximate location inferred from IP address, where processed;
Audio, electronic, visual, or similar information: Profile pictures, supporting pictures, screenshots, and attachments submitted to support;
Account credentials: Password or authentication information used to secure an account;
User-generated content and communications: Case statements, stated stakes, comments, replies, report explanations, invitations, support communications, and other text submitted through the Services;
Social and relationship information: Friend requests, friend relationships, blocked-user relationships, friend leaderboard information, and related interaction status; and
Inferences and moderation information: Reports, report categories, review status, security, fraud, abuse, content-safety, or policy-enforcement determinations derived from activity or content.
Sources, Purposes, and Disclosures

We collect these categories from You, other users, devices, Firebase, Google, Apple, service providers, and other sources described in this Policy. We use and disclose them for the business and commercial purposes described in Sections 5 through 9, including providing the Services, authentication, friend and leaderboard features, public and private-link sharing, voting, reports and blocking, purchase processing, moderation, security, fraud prevention, analytics, support, legal compliance, and business operations.

Sale and Sharing
