User Content may be stored persistently within or in connection with the App so that You can access meal history, hydration logs, nutrition tracking, check-ins, goals, and previous insights. User Content is intended to be deleted upon deletion of the App, subject to technical limitations, device behavior, backups, legal obligations, and anonymized or aggregated data uses described in this Policy.
2.1.3 Food Detection, Nutrition Estimates, Check-Ins, and Generated Insights
The Service may generate outputs based on Your User Content, including detected food lists, protein estimates, calorie estimates, fiber estimates, hydration summaries, meal-related insights, food pattern insights, nutrition progress summaries, daily tracking summaries, and history records. These generated results may be stored to provide Your history, allow You to view prior meals and check-ins, improve the user experience, troubleshoot issues, and enhance the Service.
2.1.4 Camera and Photo Library Access
The Service may request access to Your device camera or photo library so that You can take a meal photo, select a meal photo, upload an image, or otherwise submit User Content for analysis or meal logging. Such access is used to enable the functionality You request. You may be able to manage camera and photo permissions through Your device settings.
2.1.5 Health, Wellness, Nutrition, and Symptom-Related Information
Food logs, nutrition goals, nutrition estimates, hydration entries, appetite levels, nausea levels, energy levels, meal comfort feedback, daily check-in responses, and related wellness information may be considered sensitive or personal information under certain laws or in certain jurisdictions. We use this information to provide the Services requested by You, maintain Your history, improve the Service, and otherwise as described in this Policy.
2.1.6 Data Sent to Google Gemini, OpenAI, or Other AI Service Providers for AI Processing
GLP1 Food Tracker uses Google Gemini, a third-party AI service provided by Google LLC, as its primary AI service provider to help analyze User Content and generate App results. If Google Gemini is busy, unavailable, delayed, or otherwise unable to process a request, the App may use OpenAI, LLC as a backup AI service provider. When You choose to submit a meal photo, meal description, or other meal-related information for AI-powered analysis and give any required in-app permission, the App may send the following information to Google Gemini, OpenAI, or another AI service provider for processing:
The meal photo, camera image, manually entered meal description, meal notes, edited food list, or other meal-related information You submit for analysis;
Related analysis request data, such as the App’s instructions or prompts asking Google Gemini, OpenAI, or another AI service provider to detect foods, estimate nutrition information, or generate insights;
App-generated context needed to provide the requested functionality, such as selected goals, requested nutrition categories, output format, and relevant meal or check-in context;
Technical request information reasonably necessary to transmit, process, secure, troubleshoot, and return the analysis, which may include device, network, or request metadata; and
The generated outputs returned from Google Gemini, OpenAI, or another AI service provider, such as detected foods, protein estimates, calorie estimates, fiber estimates, summaries, and related insight text.
We do not use Google Gemini, OpenAI, or other AI service providers to identify You, authenticate Your identity, or make medical decisions.
The App may present an in-app disclosure and permission request before sending Your submitted meal photo or related analysis request data to Google Gemini, OpenAI, or another AI service provider for AI processing. If You do not give permission, Your submitted information will not be sent to that provider for that analysis, and the App may be unable to generate the requested AI-powered results.
2.2 Use of Your Personal Data
We may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
To provide, maintain, operate, and improve Our Service.
To manage Your account, if accounts are offered or required.
To perform contracts with You, including purchases, subscriptions, free trials, or other transactions through the Service.

To generate food pattern insights, meal-related insights, nutrition summaries, hydration summaries, and other App results.
To send meal check-in reminders, daily check-in reminders, hydration reminders, or other reminders if You enable notifications.
To send User Content and related analysis request data to Google Gemini, OpenAI, or another AI service provider, with any required in-app permission, for the purpose of generating the AI-powered analysis and App results You request.
To receive and display AI-generated outputs from Google Gemini, OpenAI, or another AI service provider, including detected foods, nutrition estimates, summaries, and related insights.
To maintain Your history of previous meals, logs, check-ins, goals, hydration entries, and insights, where applicable.

To identify usage trends, evaluate promotions, improve the Service, and improve Your experience.
To protect the security, integrity, and lawful operation of the Services.
2.3 AI, Automated Processing, Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Anonymized Improvement Data
The Service may use automated systems, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, algorithms, or other automated technologies, including services provided by Google Gemini, OpenAI, or other AI service providers, to analyze User Content and generate outputs, including detected foods, nutrition estimates, hydration summaries, meal-related insights, food pattern insights, and history records.
Google Gemini is the App’s primary AI service provider for meal photo analysis and related AI-powered outputs. OpenAI may be used as a backup provider if Google Gemini is busy, unavailable, delayed, or otherwise unable to process a request. Google Gemini, OpenAI, or another AI service provider may process the data We send to it as a service provider for the purpose of generating the analysis requested through the App. Where provider settings or agreements allow customer control over model training or improvement using identifiable User Content, WhatsGoodApps does not opt in to allow identifiable GLP1 Food Tracker User Content to be used to train or improve third-party AI models.
Google Gemini, OpenAI, or another AI service provider may process and retain API data, logs, and related information as described in its applicable business, API, security, and privacy terms and policies, including for security, abuse monitoring, legal compliance, and service operation. We require service providers that process Personal Data on Our behalf to provide protections for Personal Data that are the same as or equal to those required by this Policy and applicable law.
We may use anonymized and/or aggregated data, including meal logs, nutrition estimates, check-in responses, hydration logs, usage patterns, and related outputs, to improve, test, evaluate, and enhance Our algorithms and Services. Such anonymized or aggregated data is intended not to identify You personally.
The Service does not use meal photos or other User Content to identify individuals, authenticate identity, or make medical decisions.
2.4 Notifications
The Service may request permission to send push notifications or similar alerts. If You enable notifications, We may use them to send meal check-in reminders, daily check-in reminders, hydration reminders, subscription-related notices, account-related notices, feature updates, or other App-related communications.
You may manage or disable notifications through Your device settings or, where available, through the App’s settings. If You disable notifications, some reminder features may not function as intended.
2.5 Sharing of Your Personal Data
We may share Your Personal Data in the following situations:
With Google Gemini, OpenAI, or other AI service providers for AI processing: With any required in-app permission, We may share User Content, including submitted meal photos, meal descriptions, meal notes, related analysis request data, prompts/instructions, App-generated analysis context, technical request information, and generated outputs with Google Gemini, OpenAI, LLC, or another AI service provider to provide AI-powered meal photo analysis, food detection, nutrition estimates, summaries, and related App functionality. These providers process this data as third-party AI service providers to provide the requested Service functionality.
With service providers, third-party vendors, consultants, and business partners: We may share Your Personal Data with these parties to provide services on Our behalf, including cloud hosting, storage, analytics, customer support, payment processing, subscription management, AI, machine learning, computer vision, image processing, monitoring, and analyzing use of the Services. These providers are required to protect Personal Data with the same or equal protection required by this Policy and applicable law.
For business transfers: We may share or transfer Personal Data in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, acquisition, or similar transaction.
With Your consent: We may disclose Your Personal Data for any other purpose with Your consent.
With law enforcement: We may disclose Personal Data if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities. To the extent We receive a law enforcement request for Your Personal Data, We will promptly notify You and provide a copy of the request unless legally prohibited.
For legal, safety, and security purposes: We may share information to comply with legal obligations, protect rights or property, prevent or investigate wrongdoing, protect personal safety, or protect against legal liability.
2.6 User Content Responsibility
You should only upload or submit content that You have the legal right and permission to use. You are responsible for the User Content You submit through the Service.
2.7 In-App Permission Before Third-Party AI Processing
Before the App sends Your submitted meal photo or related Personal Data to Google Gemini, OpenAI, or another AI service provider for AI-powered analysis, the App may present an in-app disclosure explaining that data will be sent to the provider, identifying the types of data sent, and requesting Your permission where required. You may decline the permission request. If You decline, the App will not send that meal photo and related analysis request data to that provider for processing, but certain AI-powered analysis features may not be available.
2.8 Retention of Your Personal Data
The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Personal Data to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce Our legal agreements and policies.
User Content, meal photos, camera-captured images, meal descriptions, meal notes, detected food lists, protein estimates, calorie estimates, fiber estimates, hydration logs, meal check-ins, daily check-ins, goals, insights, history records, and related outputs may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain Your history, improve the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce Our agreements and policies.
User Content is stored persistently for use within the App and history features, but is intended to be deleted upon deletion of the App, subject to technical limitations, device behavior, backups, legal obligations, and anonymized or aggregated data uses described in this Policy. We do not guarantee permanent storage, backup, availability, or recoverability of any uploaded images, logs, check-ins, insights, history, or other content.
Data sent to Google Gemini, OpenAI, or another AI service provider may be processed and retained by that provider in accordance with its applicable business/API terms, data processing terms, security practices, privacy policies, and retention policies, including for service operation, security, abuse monitoring, troubleshooting, and legal compliance. Where provider settings or agreements allow customer control over model training or improvement using identifiable User Content, WhatsGoodApps does not opt in to allow identifiable GLP1 Food Tracker User Content to be used to train or improve third-party AI models.
Anonymized and/or aggregated data may be retained and used for analytics, research, algorithm improvement, and Service improvement, where such data is not intended to identify You personally.
The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when used to strengthen security or improve functionality, or where We are legally required to retain it longer.
2.9 Transfer of Your Personal Data
Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company’s operating offices, by Google Gemini, OpenAI, or other service providers, and in other places where the parties involved in processing are located. This means information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside Your state, province, country, or other jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in Your jurisdiction. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by submission of such information and any required in-app permission represents Your agreement to that transfer.
The Company will take steps reasonably necessary to ensure Your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and no transfer of Personal Data will take place to an organization or country unless adequate controls are in place.
2.10 Security of Your Personal Data
The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us, but no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Personal Data, We cannot guarantee absolute security.

If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing Your information, and Your country requires consent from a parent, We may require Your parent’s consent before We collect and use that information.
4. Links to Other Apps or Websites
Our Service may contain links to other apps or websites that are not operated by Us. If You click a third-party link, You will be directed to that third party’s app or website. We strongly advise You to review the privacy policy of every app and website You visit.
We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party apps, websites, or services.
5. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
We will strive to let You know via email and/or a prominent notice on Our Service before the change becomes effective and update the Last updated date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for changes. Changes are effective when posted on this page.
6. Supplemental Terms and Conditions for Certain Regions
6.1 Europe
If You are located in the European Economic Area (the EEA), Switzerland, or the United Kingdom (the UK), Our legal basis for collecting and using Personal Data will depend on the Personal Data concerned and the context in which We collect it. We normally collect Personal Data where We have Your consent, where We need the information to perform a contract with You, or where processing is in Our legitimate interests and not overridden by Your rights. In some cases, We may have a legal obligation to collect Personal Data.
Some User Content and wellness-related data may be considered sensitive personal data in certain jurisdictions. Where required, We rely on Your consent or another lawful basis to process such data for the App functionality You request, including sending submitted meal photos and related analysis request data to Google Gemini, OpenAI, or another AI service provider when You request AI-powered analysis and provide any required in-app permission.
When We share Personal Data of individuals in the EEA, Switzerland, or UK with Google, OpenAI, or other third parties, We use legal mechanisms to safeguard the transfer, including European Commission-approved standard contractual clauses, data processing terms, and additional safeguards where appropriate.
