This privacy policy (the “Policy”) applies to WhatsGoodApps LLC (“WhatsGoodApps”), developers of the Ai Waifu Chat app (the “Service” or “Services”).

Definitions: Throughout this Policy, “You” or “Your” means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable. “Company,” “We,” “Us,” and “Our” refer to WhatsGoodApps, LLC. “Usage Data” refers to data collected automatically, either generated by use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.
Applicability: This Policy applies to Personal Data that WhatsGoodApps collects, uses, and discloses through the Ai Waifu Chat app, related services, app features, purchases, subscriptions, Gacha features, waifu pack openings, photo uploads, AI chat, AI-generated images, AI-generated audio messages, user support communications, emails, third-party service providers, and third-party sources. Third-party sources may include service providers, app stores, payment processors, analytics providers, public databases, commercial data sources, and the public internet.
When You make purchases, We use third-party payment processors and/or app store payment systems to collect credit card or other financial information. WhatsGoodApps does not store the credit card or payment information You provide, only confirmation that payment was made and related entitlement, subscription, receipt, purchase-status, or transaction-confirmation information.
Changes: We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal, regulatory, operational requirements, Our practices, and other factors. Please check this Privacy Policy periodically for updates. If any changes are unacceptable to You, You should cease using the Services. When required under applicable law, We will notify You of changes to this Privacy Policy.
2. Collecting and Using Your Personal Data
2.1 Types of Data Collected
2.1.1 Personal Data and App Data
While interacting with the Services, You may provide certain personally identifiable information that could be used to contact or identify You. Personal Data and app data may include, but is not limited to:
Your IP address, device information, Usage Data, analytics data, crash data, cookies, tracking technologies, contact information, email address, support communications, and other data You elect to send to Us.
Chat messages, prompts, character preferences, waifu selections, saved conversations, generated responses, in-app interaction history, user settings, and user preferences.
AI-generated anime/manga-style images, image-generation requests, AI chat requests, audio-message requests, synthetic voice outputs, generated character responses, AI waifu comments, and related generation metadata.
Photos You upload to the Services, including photos uploaded so Your AI waifu can generate comments, reactions, or other responses.
Visual information derived from uploaded photos, such as general visual content, apparent objects, setting, clothing, pose, expression, style, and AI-generated descriptions or comments based on the image.
Gacha data, including pack purchases, pack openings, randomized Gacha results, unlocked waifu characters, character inventory, continent or region pack selections, rarity information, availability information, and unlock history, where applicable.
Subscription and purchase information, including active subscription status, monthly or yearly plan status, trial status, renewal or cancellation status, purchase receipts, entitlement confirmations, and feature eligibility, including yearly-plan access to photo upload features.
2.1.2 User Photo Uploads and AI Waifu Comments
Certain subscription plans, including yearly subscription plans, may allow users to upload photos of themselves so that their AI waifu character can generate comments, reactions, or other responses based on the uploaded photo. Uploaded photos may be transmitted, processed, analyzed, moderated, temporarily stored, or otherwise handled by Us and/or third-party service providers as needed to provide the feature, generate AI responses, maintain safety, enforce Our Terms of Service, troubleshoot issues, improve the Services, and comply with this Privacy Policy.
You should not upload photos of other people without their permission, photos of minors, nude images, pornographic images, sexually explicit images, intimate images, non-consensual images, exploitative images, illegal images, private images, or images that violate Our Terms of Service, applicable law, platform rules, or third-party rights. You should not upload photos containing sensitive personal information, private information about third parties, financial information, identification documents, medical information, or any content You do not want processed by automated systems.
We do not use uploaded photos for biometric identification, facial recognition, or identity verification unless expressly disclosed. We do not use uploaded user photos for biometric identification or facial recognition.
AI-generated comments, reactions, or responses about uploaded photos may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, subjective, inconsistent, unexpected, or based on limited visual information. The Services do not provide professional advice, identity verification, beauty ratings, health assessments, psychological evaluations, or any other factual determination about You or any person depicted in an uploaded photo.
2.1.3 AI Features and Third-Party AI Providers
The Services use artificial intelligence to provide chat, anime/manga-style image generation, AI waifu comments, and audio message generation. We use Google Gemini for chat and picture generation. We use ElevenLabs for audio message generation. Data submitted to or generated by these features, including prompts, chat messages, uploaded photos, photo comments, image-generation requests, generated images, audio-message requests, generated audio messages, and related metadata, may be shared with or processed by these providers as needed to operate and provide the Services.
We may also use other service providers for hosting, analytics, crash reporting, moderation, security, payment processing, app store functionality, and other infrastructure or operational needs. The availability, speed, quality, safety, and functionality of certain features may depend on third-party systems and providers.
2.1.4 Local Storage and Device Data
Certain conversations, waifu characters, generated images, generated audio, Gacha inventory, unlocked characters, saved media, preferences, history, and other app data may be stored locally on Your device. If You delete the App, reset Your device, clear app data, lose access to Your device, or switch devices, locally stored data may be lost and may not be recoverable. We are not responsible for backing up, restoring, replacing, or recreating locally stored data except where required by applicable law.
2.2 Use of Your Personal Data
We may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
To provide, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the Services.
To generate AI waifu conversations, responses, comments, anime/manga-style images, and audio messages.
To process user prompts, chat messages, photo uploads, image requests, audio requests, and other feature requests.
To generate AI comments, reactions, or other responses based on photos You upload.
To provide Gacha features, pack-ripping, character unlocks, inventory features, subscriptions, purchases, and other premium features.
To moderate content, detect prohibited content, enforce Our Terms of Service, maintain safety, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable platform rules.
To personalize character interactions, maintain user preferences, troubleshoot failed generations, and improve feature performance.
To manage Your account, registration, subscription status, purchases, entitlements, and access to features available to You.
For the performance of a contract, including the purchase contract for products, items, subscriptions, digital items, Gacha features, or services You purchase through the Service.
To contact You by email, push notification, or other electronic communication regarding updates, security, account matters, support, app features, products, or contracted services, when necessary or reasonable.
To provide news, special offers, and general information about goods, services, and events which We offer that are similar to those You have purchased or enquired about, unless You have opted not to receive such information.
To manage Your requests, respond to support communications, investigate issues, and resolve disputes.
For business transfers, including evaluating or conducting a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Our assets.
For other purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of promotional campaigns, improving Our products and services, and enhancing Your experience.
We may use de-identified, aggregated, or anonymized usage information to improve the Services, troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, and enhance safety systems. We do not use uploaded user photos for biometric identification or facial recognition.
2.3 Sharing of Your Personal Data
We may share Your Personal Data in the following situations:
With service providers, third-party vendors, consultants, and other business partners that provide services on Our behalf, monitor and analyze use of the Services, process AI features, host data, moderate content, provide analytics, process payments, or support app functionality.
With AI model providers, including Google Gemini for chat and picture generation, and ElevenLabs for audio message generation, as needed to provide AI chat, AI-generated images, AI-generated audio messages, AI waifu comments, and related features.
With hosting providers, moderation providers, analytics providers, crash-reporting providers, security providers, app stores, payment processors, and infrastructure providers.
For business transfers, including in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business.
With Your consent or at Your direction.
With law enforcement, courts, regulators, public authorities, or other parties when required by law or when We believe disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect Our rights or property, prevent or investigate wrongdoing, protect personal safety, or protect against legal liability.
2.4 Retention of Your Personal Data
The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with Our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce Our legal agreements and policies, maintain safety, provide the Services, and operate Our business.
Uploaded photos, prompts, chat messages, generated comments, generated images, generated audio messages, Gacha results, moderation records, subscription entitlement data, and related metadata may be retained only as needed to provide the Services, maintain safety, troubleshoot issues, comply with law, enforce Our Terms of Service, prevent abuse, or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.
The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when used to strengthen security, improve functionality, enhance safety systems, troubleshoot issues, or comply with legal obligations.
2.5 Transfer of Your Personal Data
Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company’s operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in processing are located. This means Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside Your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in Your jurisdiction. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by Your submission of such information represents Your agreement to that transfer.
The Company will take steps reasonably necessary to ensure that Your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and no transfer of Your Personal Data will take place to an organization or country unless there are adequate controls in place, including controls relating to the security of Your Personal Data and other personal information.
2.6 Security of Your Personal Data
The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us, but no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.
2.7 Content Moderation and Safety Processing
Content submitted to or generated by the Services may be automatically reviewed, filtered, blocked, or moderated to detect or prevent prohibited content, including sexual content involving minors, nude or pornographic uploads, illegal content, abuse, harassment, hateful content, non-consensual content, attempts to impersonate real people, attempts to copy copyrighted characters, platform-policy violations, or other content that may violate Our Terms of Service, provider policies, platform rules, or applicable law.
2.8 Sharing, Exporting, or Posting Generated Outputs
If You save, download, export, share, transmit, post, or otherwise make AI-generated waifu images, audio messages, comments, chat content, or other outputs available outside the Services, You are responsible for that sharing. Once content is shared outside the App, We may not be able to control how third parties copy, store, use, repost, edit, distribute, or otherwise handle that content.
3. Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended only for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 18. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under 18, We will take steps to remove that information from Our servers, unless We are legally required or permitted to retain it.
4. Links to Other Apps or Websites
Our Service may contain links to other apps or websites that are not operated by Us. If You click on a third-party link, You will be directed to that third party’s app or website. We strongly advise You to review the privacy policy of every app and website You visit.
We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party apps, websites, or services.
5. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
We will strive to let You know via email and/or a prominent notice on Our Service, prior to the change becoming effective, and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
6. Supplemental Terms and Conditions for Certain Regions
6.1 Europe
If You are located in the European Economic Area (the “EEA”), Switzerland, or the United Kingdom (the “UK”), Our legal basis for collecting and using the Personal Data described in this Policy will depend on the personal information concerned and the specific context in which We collect it. However, We will normally collect personal information from You only where We have Your consent to do so, where We need the personal information to perform a contract with You, or where the processing is in Our legitimate interests and not overridden by Your data protection interests or fundamental rights and freedoms. In some cases, We may also have a legal obligation to collect personal information from You.
We may share Personal Data internally or with third parties, as described in this Privacy Policy. When We share Personal Data of individuals in the EEA, Switzerland or UK with third parties, We make use of a variety of legal mechanisms to safeguard the transfer including the European Commission-approved standard contractual clauses, as well as additional safeguards where appropriate.

6.2 California
This section applies solely to residents of California or individuals whose information has been collected in California. WhatsGoodApps has adopted and included this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”). Any terms used in this statement that are defined in the CCPA have the same meaning given therein.
6.2.1 Your Rights and Choices
The CCPA provides individuals residing in California, or whose personal information was collected in California, with specific rights regarding their personal information. The below describes Your rights and how You may exercise them.
6.2.1.1 Access to Specific Information and Data Portability Rights
You have the right to request that WhatsGoodApps disclose certain information to You about Our collection and use of Your personal information over the past twelve (12) months. Once WhatsGoodApps receives and confirms Your verifiable information access request, WhatsGoodApps must disclose to You: (i) the categories of personal information We collected about You; (ii) the categories of sources for the personal information We collected about You; (iii) Our business or commercial purpose for collecting or, if applicable, selling that personal information; (iv) the categories of third parties with whom We share that personal information; (v) the specific data points or pieces of personal information We collected about You. If We disclosed for a business purpose or sold Your personal information, WhatsGoodApps must also provide separate lists that: (x) identify the personal information categories that were sold to each category of recipient in connection with sales of Your personal information; and (y) identify the personal information categories that were provided to each category of recipient in connection with business purposes disclosures of Your personal information.
6.2.1.2 Deletion Request Rights
You have the right to request that WhatsGoodApps delete any of Your personal information that We collected from You and/or retained. Unless subject to a certain limited exception, once WhatsGoodApps receives and confirms Your verifiable data deletion request, We will delete (and direct Our service providers to delete) Your personal information from Our records. WhatsGoodApps will notify You promptly if it determines it must deny Your deletion request.
6.2.1.3 Do Not Sell Opt-Out Rights
WhatsGoodApps does not sell Your personal information, as defined under CCPA. If in the future We do sell Your personal information, We will notify You, and You may have the right to opt-out of such sale.
6.2.2 Exercising Your Rights
To exercise Your access, data portability, deletion or do not sell opt-out rights described above, You may submit a verifiable consumer request by any of the following means: By email to support@whatsgoodapps.com.
You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability up to two times within a 12-month period. You may make a verifiable do not sell opt-out request at any time. Any such request must: (i) provide sufficient information that allows Us to reasonably verify that You are the person about whom We collected personal information or an authorized representative thereof; and (ii) be described with sufficient detail such that We may understand, evaluate, and respond to it. WhatsGoodApps cannot respond to Your request or provide You with personal information if We cannot verify Your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to You. Making a verifiable consumer request does not require You to create an account with Us. WhatsGoodApps will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request. Only You or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that You authorize to act on Your behalf may make a verifiable consumer request related to Your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of Your minor child.
We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within 45 days of its receipt. If We require more time (up to 90 days), We will inform You in writing of the extension period and the reason for it. WhatsGoodApps will deliver any required or requested responses or other communications in writing to You by email. Any disclosures We provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request’s receipt. If applicable, the response We provide will also explain any reasons We cannot comply with a request. For data portability requests, WhatsGoodApps will provide Your personal information in a format that is readily usable and transferable. WhatsGoodApps does not charge a fee to process or respond to Your verifiable consumer request unless such requests become excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded or as otherwise permitted by the CCPA. If We determine that a request warrants charging a fee, We will notify You and provide You with a cost estimate before completing Your request.
